Industry Connections

I have relationships with one gun company, and with a vendor to USPSA. As such, it may be necessary for me to abstain from a board vote on an issue which has a direct effect on one of these firms.

SVI - Infinity Firearms

I develop the web page for SVI on a consulting basis, and also engage in discussion regarding product design and marketing. I have a non-disclosure contract with SVI which means that I may occasionally have access to non-public information about the company and its products.

JP Enterprises

I have a web development consulting relationship with JP Enterprises (www.jprifles.com). Although I have not signed a formal non-disclosure contract with JP Enterprises, I would be obligated to honor the confidentiality of any non-public information which comes up in my discussions with their staff.

Triton Ammo

I received a few boxes of ammo from Trition in for repairing a piece of test instrumentation. This was an isolated task, and I do not have any ongoing relationship with that firm.

Shooters.com

I have removed my description of my working relationship with All Vertical / Shooters, since that firm has gone out of business and is no longer a supplier to USPSA.

Gun Muse

I have negotiated free hosting from Gun Muse. In addition, I have delivered several paying customers to Gun Muse for several reasons: Although I do not recieve free services from Gun Muse, there is the potential for an appearance of a conflict of interest since one could wonder if Gun Muse hosting was chosen based on USPSA's needs or that of the other sites I have delivered to that firm. Fortunately, the USPSA pricing level (free) renders that concern largely irrelevant.

Except in an emergency situation, I would always seek review of any web hosting arrangement with Dave Thomas prior to making a financial committment for USPSA.
